Latvia’s prime minister has announced his resignation over a Riga supermarket collapse that killed more than 50 people last week.

Nigerian who posted rap video on YouTube glorifying gang culture jailed for 22 years
A 21 year old Nigerian named Kayode Oshin (pictured right), who uploaded a video on YouTube boasting about trying to murder a rival with a machine gun was jailed for 22 years yesterday, Daily Mail reports. His accomplice, Junior Tahir-Akinyele (pictured left) was jailed for 14 years.

Adaobi Obih's suspected killer Ryan Klug caught in Texas
A full time test engineer at Cummins Inc., Adaobi only began to pursue her PHD before she was murdered. Family sources said she leased the apartment on her own and Klug was her tenant who paid rent to her. They also said Ada interviewed a large number of people before deciding to lease a room to Klug. Only for him to end up killing her.
Ada's employees were alerted after she missed two days of work. They went to her flat to see what was going on with her only to find her lifeless body in her apartment. Ada had been stabbed multiple times and her throat cut.

President Jonathan is back to the country after a trip to the UK where he developed acute abdominal pains and had to seek medical attention. The president was in London to preside over a 3-day meeting of Nigeria’s Honourary International Investors Council (HIIC). Nigerian teenager arrested in Italy for killing 60 year old woman
A 19 year old Nigerian homeless man has been arrested in Italy for killing a 60 year old woman. Nwajiobi Donald (pictured above) strangled Caterina Susca with a bag over her head in her home in Bari, a southern Italian coastal city on Monday November 11th. Unknown to him, a neighbor took his pictures as he left Susca’s house after the murder. Donald confessed to the murder on November 14th after he was arrested by police who confronted him with numerous pieces of incriminating evidence collected in the hours immediately following the crime.
According to reports, the victim was found semi-naked with a plastic bag over her head and her skull crushed in. Donald said he killed the woman in self defense after she attacked him with a pair of scissors in her home. Donald, who is homeless, claimed he met the victim on the morning of the incident and asked her for food; the lady asked him to follow her home with a promise to give him something to eat only to attack him but investigators believe Donald was trying to steal from the woman and when caught in the act, attacked and suffocated her with a plastic bag after beating her up. Police say some money and a phone was stolen from the deceased.
Donald is currently remanded in prison after a judge refused him bail.

President Jonathan undergoes medical check up in London
Presidential spokesperson Reuben Abati has announced that the president is currently undergoing medical check up in the UK but says it's nothing serious. See the State House press release below...
In the course of his on-going visit to London for a meeting of Nigeria’s Honorary International Investors’ Council, President Goodluck Jonathan became indisposed and could not be present at the opening of the meeting today. President Jonathan has since been examined by competent medical practitioners. He has been advised to rest for a few days.
The Presidency wishes to assure all Nigerians that President Jonathan’s condition is nothing serious and that the medical attention he has sought is only precautionary.

More details about 26 year old Adaobi Michella Obih who was found dead on Tuesday Nov. 19th at an apartment in Columbus, Indiana. The man suspected of killing her, 36 year old Ryan Allen Klug, was her roommate. Adaobi was stabbed multiple times and her throat cut.

Police were alerted to Obih’s death after she missed work Monday and Tuesday without notifying anyone. Concerned coworkers contacted her apartment complex to ask about her. Police also contacted the property manager to request a welfare check, according to the arrest affidavit.
A maintenance worked went to check on the woman and said, “It’s not good, there is blood everywhere” after going to Obih’s apartment.
A neighbor said he noticed that the door to Obih’s garage spot was open and had been open for at least 24 hours. Klug, who police described as Obih’s roommate, parked his vehicle there.The maintenance worker told police there were no signs of forced entry at the apartment and that only two people would’ve had keys: Obih and Klug. The maintenance worker told police he found Obih with a “large amount of blood around her head” and said it appeared clear that she was dead.

The police at Idimu, Lagos, western Nigeria have arrested the wife of a pastor, Mrs. Angela Uzoma, for pouring hot water on a teenager who is also her sister.

The Nigerian Navy says it is building commercial war ships for export within the African countries.
The Chief of Naval Staff (CNS), Vice Adm. Dele Ezeoba, said this on Tuesday when he inspected the second indigenous patrol ship under construction at the Naval Dockyard, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Ezeoba expressed confident that the Nigerian Navy was skilled enough to build patrol ships between 10 and 38 metres in size for export.
