National Conference: 'We will leave Nigeria and join Cameroun' Lamido of Adamawa threatens
There was a mild drama Wednesday at the venue of the on- going National Conference, when a traditional ruler, the Lamido of Adamawa, His Royal Highness, Muhammadu Barkindo Mustapha told his fellow delegates that he was prepared to secede from the present Nigeria if the country disintegrates.
According to him, if Nigeria breaks, some people in the country would have no where to run to, but for him and his people in Adamawa Kingdom, they would pack their luggage and whatever they have and join their kith and kin in thr Republic of Cameroun
The Lamido of Adamawa who is one of the thirteen persons and number three on the list of traditional rulers representing the group tagged, National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria Traditional Rulers Council of Nigeria, also said before the very eyes of other 491 delegates, 6 officers of the Conference and Journalists that he was also ready to lead his people on a walk-out from the conference.

Ekiti State commissioner arrested for beating up NYSC member
Police in Ekiti has arrested the state’s Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Mr. Kayode Olaosebikan, for questioning over the beating up of a NYSC member at a registration unit in Otun Ekiti, Moba LGA of the state, Vanguard reports.

Fear of Boko Haram: 250 female students of FGGC relocated
The Principal of FGGC Maiduguri told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Maiduguri yesterday that the students were relocated last week
“The students started coming on March 3, shortly after the mass transfer, they are still coming. As at this morning (Monday), we have about 225 students. But I believe by now the figure will have risen to 250.
“We have already accommodated them in our hostels, especially where we had vacant rooms. Since they are all girls, we have identified an unoccupied three bed-room bungalow for possible conversion into a hostel accommodation for them if their number increases. They were transferred with 70% of their teachers, who have also started reporting for duty,” The principal said.

According to a Forbes magazine list released yesterday Monday March 3rd, Nigerian industrialist, Aliko Dangote is the 23rd richest man in the world. Wow! He made history as the first black man to break into the rank of top 25 richest people in the world.
In 2012, he was the 76th richest man in the world. He moved from that to 43rd richest man in 2013 and now to 23rd in 2014 with his wealth jumping from $16.1billion to $25billion.
