Malivelihood now claims the gold-plated iPhones @GEJ's wedding were from him

Luxury designer Malivelihood now claims the gold-plated iPhones distributed at president Jonathan's daughter's wedding on Saturday was a gift from him and not paid for by anyone in government. This kinda contradicts what he initially wrote on his instagram page when he shared photos of the luxury gifts (Find that here). He has also since deleted all the pictures from his instagram.

Photo: Man kills roommate during fight over cooking pot in Lagos

A 20 year old man named Ngwuta Nweke has been arrested by men of the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly killing his roommate, Emeka James, at their apartment at Kadara slum, close to Sawmill, Ebute Metta Lagos during a fight over a cooking pot.

According to a Punch report, the incident happened on the 22nd of March 2014.

While being paraded before pressmen, Nweke said that he never intended to kill his friend. He said as they were fighting, he held James' neck and mistakenly strangled him to death.

Kanye raps about Kim K's butt, and her beautiful 'trophy' sisters

Kanye West is crazy about his baby mama, Kim. And of recent, she's become the inspiration for some of his raps.

In a new Future song which was released yesterday April 8th titled 'I Won' featuring Kanye West, the two men celebrate the women in their lives, Ciara and Kim K respectively, comparing the women to trophies. Cossy Orjiakor claims she was robbed, sustained minor injuries

Apparently this supposedly happened 2 days ago in the Orile area of Lagos. Don't like driving around that area, especially at night! Those guys will come and knock on your car window like they own it. First they gently ask you to wind down, when you refuse, they smash it..with other cars around sef.

Photos: Nigerian arrested in Thailand for selling cocaine

Ibenuba Henry Onyinyechukwu, a Nigerian living in Thailand has been arrested by Thailand police for possession and dealing in illegal drugs, cocaine. Ibenuba, who had been dealing in hard drugs in Thailand for a while, was arrested following a well planned move by the police.

A Thai lady named Somkid Kwanngern was first arrested with 1.2g of cocaine and upon questioning told the police it was her Briton friend, Curtis Martin Taylor, who gave them to her. She took the police to Taylor who confessed to buying the drugs from Ibenuba. The Thai police hatched a secret investigation on Ibenuba using the Thai lady who pretended to be a buyer. She called Ibenuba asking to buy 5.45g of cocaine from him and he asked her to come to his house at KK Apartment to receive it, which she did. After the deal was concluded and fake money provided by the police had been handed over to Ibenuba, she notified the police.

The police immediately moved in on Ibenuba, arrested him and charged him with possession of category 2 drug while the Thai and the Briton were charged with possession of category 2 & 5 drugs.

LUTH resident doctors on strike again

Resident doctors commenced a 3-day warning strike to protest the poor working conditions at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, as well as to compel the LUTH management to expunge certain clauses in the appointment letters of new resident doctors.

Getting a residency training is essentially an act of God now because there are not enough training centers. When you get in you spend about six and half years specializing then to be thrown back into the labour market in search of a job as a consultant. Continue...

Aircraft with 57 passengers, including Ladoja & CONFAB delegates, makes air return

Former Oyo State Governor Rasheed Ladoja, some serving Senators, members of the National Conference who were returning to Abuja yesterday were among those onboard an Overland aircraft with registration Number 5NBPE that had to make a quick detour after the pilot noticed a crack on the windshield of the aircraft.
